Police: A”Psychopathic Serial Killer” Has Been Arrested Over The Murder Of 42 Women

A 33-year-old man, identified as Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, has been arrested by Kenya’s National Police for being a “psychopathic serial killer with no respect for human life.” According to the authorities, Khalusha has confessed to the murder of 42 women, including his own wife, who he reportedly acknowledged as his first victim. The police have described him as a dangerous killer who shows no regard for human life.

According to the chief of Kenya’s national Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Mohammed Amin, Khalusha has been responsible for murdering victims since 2022, with some victims being killed as recently as four days prior to his arrest.

During a news conference held at the DCI headquarters in Nairobi on Monday, Amin stated that Khalusha was in custody. The agency also shared Amin’s remarks through several social media posts, along with a photo of Khalusha in custody.

According to the authorities, they had been monitoring the signal of Jumaisha’s mobile phone.

Amin stated that the suspect was tracked down through the transaction made via Josphine Owino’s phone number in relation to one of the victims.

According to police, Khalusha was apprehended while attempting to lure another victim, a woman identified only as Susan.

Amin disclosed that they have apprehended another suspect who was found in possession of one of the mobile phones of the victims. However, no additional details about the identity of the second suspect or their links to the homicides were given by Amin.

While the remains of the murdered women were being uncovered last week, a doomsday cult leader was put on trial in the country for terrorism charges related to the deaths of over 400 of his followers. This separate case has also caused shock throughout the nation.

According to the authorities, they will be conducting autopsies on the nine bodies that were discovered at the Kware dump. Additionally, they have deployed more police officers to continue searching the area.
