Phantom Centralized HUB opens at Fort Cavazos to streamline food distribution for soldiers throughout the post

The Iron Horse Warrior restaurant at Fort Cavazos saw the opening of the Phantom Centralized HUB on July 15.

Soldiers stationed at the Central Texas Army post will soon benefit from a new facility that aims to modernize and streamline meal provision. The new facility will be more efficient in providing meals to the soldiers, ensuring that they are well-fed and energized for their duties.

The Phantom Centralized HUB comprises three initiatives: Phantom Fresh, Culinary Outpost food truck operations, and installation meal preparation.

Soldiers will now have access to food in a more convenient manner with the introduction of Phantom Fresh. This initiative will enable soldiers to grab their meals on-the-go, much like in an airport kiosk. The shelves will be stocked with a variety of food options to ensure that soldiers can quickly and easily grab their meals during the day.

According to the press release, two outpost food trucks are playing a vital role in supporting soldiers stationed at Fort Cavazos. These food trucks have been strategically placed in locations that help bridge the gap for soldiers’ access to food.

Soldiers at Fort Cavazos have the luxury of using the installation meal preparation service to place pick-up orders for their meals. They can easily select their preferred food options online, which are then created at the Phantom Centralized HUB. Once ready, the meals are delivered to the nearest Warrior Restaurant for convenient pick-up by the soldiers.

Master Sergeant Randall Summerford emphasizes the importance of proper nutrition in the army. Phantom Centralized HUB is committed to ensuring that soldiers receive adequate nutrients.
