58 Tennessee Delegates At Republican National Convention Where No Security Modifications Will Be Implemented

Former President Trump has made his way to Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention, with 58 Tennessee delegates in attendance. Law enforcement officials have labeled this event as the most secure political gathering in the history of our nation.

The United States Secret Service has expressed confidence in the security plan they had in place for the past 18 months, following the recent attempted assassination. They have stated that no modifications will be made to their existing plan, and some, like Tennessee Republican Party Chairman, Scott Golden, are in agreement with this decision.

In his statement, he emphasized the assurance of safety in the area as he confidently stated, “There is no cause for concern as everyone will feel secure in this location. In fact, this will be deemed as one of the safest places in the entire country.”

According to Golden, he was involved in making arrangements for the RNC this year. Although the FBI has stated that there are currently no known threats to the event, they have reported an increase in online threats of violence, particularly following the recent attack on Saturday.

Whenever Golden goes out, he notices security measures in place.

According to him, the RNC has arranged for a bus to transport all the delegates to the Fiserv center, and each delegate will be accompanied by a designated Secret Service agent.

Former assistant FBI director Frank Figliuzzi spoke to WSMV4 last week about the 1,100 law enforcement officers currently present in Milwaukee, which includes a significant number of officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department and La Vergne Police Department.

Figliuzzi emphasized that Milwaukee requires more resources than what is currently available within the entire state of Wisconsin.

In a conversation with WSMV4, he affirmed that RNC security measures would remain unchanged. Nonetheless, he expressed apprehension regarding Wisconsin’s open carry law, which prevents the city from imposing any restrictions on firearms within Milwaukee.

Despite the attempted assassination, Golden still anticipates a significant turnout.

According to him, the number of people coming is actually increasing. He mentioned that there were individuals who called him the previous night and expressed their enthusiasm for this historic election.

According to Golden, since the Democratic National Convention was scheduled to be held in Milwaukee in 2020, similar security measures were already implemented. Therefore, they can use those as a foundation and enhance them for this year’s RNC.
