New York City is ramping up security measures in response to an attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
The Secret Service was in a frenzy in Butler, Pennsylvania over the weekend, as they swiftly moved to protect the ex-president who claimed to have been hit in the ear by a bullet. The scene was one of chaos and pandemonium.
Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan saw deployment of local emergency service and counterterrorism police, over 300 miles away.
As a precautionary measure, the NYPD has decided to ramp up its presence in various parts of the city, such as Trump Tower, 40 Wall Street, Foley Square, and City Hall.
As of now, New York City is not under any threat or connection.
As of now, there is no indication of any danger or link to New York City.
Late on Saturday night, six hours after the shooting, former President Trump arrived in Newark, New Jersey.
In his statement, Mayor Eric Adams emphasized the importance of non-violence and peaceful disagreement, regardless of one’s political beliefs. He urged everyone to come together and recognize that violence is never the answer.
Adams expressed that his prayers are with the former president’s safety.
According to Rich Frankel, a retired FBI Agent and ABC News contributor, the investigation into the shooting will involve a thorough examination of how the shooter was able to reach his position without any obstacles.
According to Frankel, the individual who attempted to harm the former president was not merely trying to intimidate him. The attacker aimed and fired at the president, striking him in the ear. Frankel believes that there will be a thorough evaluation of every person who has the potential to come into contact with the president.
Despite a possible attempt on the former president’s life, Trump supporters proudly showed their continued support by parading MAGA flags at Trump Tower. Their unwavering loyalty was on full display, as they refused to be deterred by any potential threats.
Christine Randall expressed her sentiment, “We have to show him that we’re with him – he fights for the American people every day, and it’s our turn to fight for him.”

Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, a friend of Donald Trump, has decided to increase security measures for public figures and politicians in response to the shooting incident involving Trump. This move comes after the unfortunate incident that occurred on Long Island.

Blakeman revealed that she exchanged text messages with him just over a week ago and had a couple of phone conversations with him within the last 30 days. She also mentioned that they were together in the South Bronx.
Congressman Andrew Garbarino, a Republican from Suffolk County, expressed disbelief and concern over how such an event could have occurred.
Garbarino expressed his shock over the fact that someone was able to get so close to the President while he was delivering his speech.
