A man from Michigan stopped to refuel his car and ended up winning a whopping $4 million from a scratch-off lottery ticket.
When he stopped to buy gas at the Fastline convenience store on State Street in Saginaw, the 52-year-old Saginaw County man also decided to purchase a couple of scratch-off tickets. According to Michigan Lottery officials, he later revealed that one of those tickets ended up being a big winner.
The player shared that during a pit stop to refuel, they impulsively purchased two $4,000,000 Ultimate tickets. Upon scratching the barcodes, they scanned the first ticket and received a notification to file a claim. After scanning it again and receiving the same message, the player suspected a malfunctioning scanner. However, the second ticket scanned without any issues, leaving them confused about what was happening.
As soon as he completed scratching off the ticket, the man had an epiphany and realized what was going on.
As he waited for the gas to pump, he absentmindedly scratched the lottery ticket. The moment he saw the winning amount, he was overcome with an indescribable feeling. Unable to contain his excitement, he climbed into his car and shouted, “We just won $4 million!”
According to the champion, his plan is to utilize the prize money for purchasing land and investing.
