Jill Biden Is Conducting A Blitz In The South As Calls For Husband To Step Down Rise

On Monday, First Lady Jill Biden is showing her unwavering support for her husband, President Joe Biden, amidst mounting pressure for him to withdraw from the presidential race.

On Monday, Jill Biden will be attending political events to show her support for her husband in three important Southern states, namely North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. Her visit to these states comes after Joe Biden’s campaign in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania over the weekend.

Numerous reports suggest that Joe Biden has been under increasing pressure to withdraw from the presidential race due to his age and mental acuity issues, which were highlighted during his poor performance in the previous debate. Both Democrats, in public and private, have been discussing whether Biden is fit to continue as the Democratic nominee against Trump in November.

According to reports, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) is currently rallying other Senate Democrats to join him in urging Biden to withdraw from the presidential race. Additionally, five House Democrats have already made public statements calling for Biden to step aside.

According to reports, Jill and Hunter Biden have been actively encouraging the president to continue running for office, and have been advocating for changes to his campaign team in order to bounce back from his lackluster debate performance.

North Carolina and Georgia are considered to be among the key battleground states in the upcoming election. Meanwhile, it is widely believed that Florida will go to former President Donald Trump. Despite this, the Biden campaign remains confident that they can win Florida. However, President Trump’s poor performance during the debates may have diminished the already slim chances of flipping the state in favor of the Democrats.

According to the RealClearPolitics polling average, Trump is currently leading Biden in North Carolina with 47.8% compared to Biden’s 42%. Meanwhile, in Georgia, Trump is also ahead of Biden with a 46% lead compared to Biden’s 42.3%, as per the RealClearPolitics polling average.

Prior to the debate, Trump was consistently ahead in the national and swing state polls. Since the June 27th debate, most polls have indicated that the former president has even extended his lead. This has raised concerns among Democrats about Biden’s chances.
