Back in June, a shooting incident occurred on Argyle Avenue in Waldorf, prompting the sheriff’s office to launch an investigation. The suspects intentionally fired several rounds at a house, which resulted in a woman being grazed by the bullets while she was inside.
Investigators have stated that a dispute over a stolen cell phone led to the shooting.
Last July 4, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant operation on Thackeray Lane in White Plains. The authorities were able to apprehend three individuals as a result of the operation.
According to the sheriff’s office, the house that was served with the search warrant has been a subject of continuous complaints in the Stonehaven Community.
The individuals who were apprehended and accused are as follows:

- Spencer Jacari Moore, 20, of White Plains;
- Jenboi Moore, 19, of White Plains;
- Stephen Jacari Williams, 19, of Forestville.
Authorities identified both Moores as the primary suspects in the shooting, and they were discovered inside the residence with Williams.
Law enforcement officials seized a semi-automatic handgun that was loaded with an extended magazine and an illegal “switch” device that transforms a semi-automatic gun into a fully automatic machine gun. Additionally, an AR-style pistol that was also loaded was recovered during the operation.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Williams had been forbidden from owning firearms. Additionally, during the search, the 19-year-old Moore showed disrespect towards the authorities by spitting at a detective.
Assisted by the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office, Spencer Moore has been charged with illegal possession of regulated fireworks and several cases of fireworks have been seized as a result of the investigation. A civil citation was issued to Moore for the offense.

- Williams was charged with illegal possession of firearms, which he is prohibited from doing.
Charles County Sheriff Troy Berry stated that the arrests made today were the result of a comprehensive investigation and collaboration between officers, detectives, various agency departments, and law enforcement partners.
“We demonstrate our dedication to secure communities and delivering justice for victims through the exemplary coordination and support exhibited in this incident,” stated the spokesperson.
