GARDEN CITY – The City of Garden City Municipal Court will be closed starting today, January 25, through February 8 as they move to their new location at 310 N. Seventh Street.

After a 2019 organizational study conducted by McGrath Consulting, it was determined that more space was needed for the Garden City Police Department. To alleviate that issue, it was decided to move Municipal Court out of the basement of the Law Enforcement Center.

The City purchased the building at 310 N. Seventh Street on June 30, 2020, and began renovations. The new location creates efficient space for Municipal Court and doubles the occupancy of the courtroom.
