Upward Academy Students Celebrate Achievements

Upward Academy students celebrated their educational achievements
in December 2020 during a fun socially-distanced gathering. The students were honored and recognized for
their accomplishments during the fall semester.
Dr. Ryan Ruda, Garden City Community College President, stated “I was honored to be a part of the event.
It was very humbling and rewarding to see the excitement and happiness that the students showed on
receiving their educational achievements. Thank you for all your work and leadership in the Upward
Academy program and I look forward to doing what we can to continue moving this very rewarding program
forward.”

valuable educational opportunities to the local workforce.
