Visitor Procedures Implemented At Garden City Public Schools

The safety and security of students and staff is a top priority at Garden City Public Schools.  The district has enacted a number of policies and procedures relating to visitors at the district’s buildings during regular business hours. 

Members of the community that are planning to visit the Educational Support Center or other district buildings during the business day, will need to pre-register for an appointment prior to the date of the visit to the district facility.  Patrons will need to contact the building directly to schedule an appointment.  People will be expected to provide current contact information when they schedule the appointment.  A request to meet with a department or staff member should be made at least 24-hours in advance of the appointment.

There will be a number of steps that a person will need to go through before entry into a building.  Persons entering school district facilities will need to wear a mask during the visit in the building.
