
The Finney County Clerk’s office has released the information for the 2020 Election. The deadline to file for one of the elected positions is noon on Monday, June 1, 2020. For independent candidates (those not affiliated with a party) the deadline is Monday, August 3 at noon.
The primary election will be held on Tuesday, August 4. Finney County voters will be voting on these elected positions:
US President/Vice President
US Senator
US Representative- District 1
State Senator- District 39
State Representatives- District 117, 122, 123
Finney County Commissioner- Districts 2, 3
Finney County Attorney
Finney County Clerk
Finney County Register of Deeds
Finney County Sheriff
Finney County Treasurer
Township Trustee- all townships
Township Treasurer- all townships
Precinct Committeeman- all precincts
Precinct Committeewoman- all precincts
In order to vote in the primary elections, voters must be affiliated with a political party. (Democrat, Republican or Libertarian) Party affiliations cannot be changed after June 1 for the 2020 election cycle.
