Tickets for St. Catherine Hospital Development Foundation’s annual gala – an evening of fine dining, dancing and entertainment to benefit Centura Health – St. Catherine Hospital, are now on sale.
This year’s event, with a masquerade theme, is set to begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 7, in the St. Catherine cafeteria. The beneficiary this year will be the Women’s Clinic as proceeds will go toward purchasing an additional ultrasound machine for the clinic.
Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased at The Nook gift shop at St. Catherine or online at https://schdfoundation.com/gala.
The evening will begin with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner and a live auction of artwork created by Dr. Trish Miller. Guests can dance the night away to the music of Twice on Sunday, a seven-piece band out of Kansas City.
Since settling into its new home in the St. Catherine Medical Building, the Women’s Clinic has seen an increase in the number of expectant mothers needing ultrasounds, creating the need for a second machine. With five providers scheduling ultrasounds and an increasing number of high-risk patients requiring them weekly, one machine and technician can’t meet the demand.
The second machine would bring an additional technician to the clinic three days a week and help the clinic provide more timely access to the best OB/GYN care in western Kansas.
