Garden City Public Schools along with Kansas Children Service League have partnered together to offer two different training sessions in one day for parents, caregivers, educators and more. The sessions will take place on Saturday, February 8, in the Horace Good Middle School cafeteria, 1412 N. Main Street.
The trainings will provide participants strategies to strengthen any child’s reading skills. The first session, Teaching Phonological Awareness with Picture Books, will start at 9:00 a.m. The second session, Myths & Truths about Dyslexia, will start at 1:30 p.m. The fee for each session is $25, or $40 for both sessions.
