in Garden City, will be the featured speaker at the seminar, scheduled for
5:45 to 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, in Classroom 1 at St. Catherine. Light

Dr. Brown, who established the nationally recognized Colorado Bariatric Surgery
Institute in 2001, performs robotic bariatric surgery, which allow for less
pain and a shorter hospital stay and recovery period. Robotic surgery is
offered for the gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, removal of a gastric band
and/or conversion to a sleeve and other revisional bariatric procedures.
