Through its annual Christmas Tree Auction benefit event, Centura Health – St. Catherine Hospital recently was able to aid Mosaic of Garden City in its mission to provide services and advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities.
During a ceremony on Jan. 14 at St. Catherine, the hospital presented Mosaic representatives with a check for $3,400, which was a portion of the proceeds raised at the Christmas Tree auction held in December. The hospital auctioned off 25 decorated trees at the event.
Mosaic is a whole-person healthcare organization that pursues opportunities to empower people to live full lives in their community. It stands alongside people with intellectual disabilities to bring awareness to issues that affect their lives and encourages self-advocacy.
Mosaic partners with St. Catherine’s Solid Grounds Coffee Shop, which provides job skills for clients from Mosaic.
