Esquivel advances to National JAG competition

Vianca Esquivel, junior at Garden City High School, took 1st place at the Jobs for America’s Graduates – Kansas (JAG-K) State Career Development Conference in Salina on April 17. She competed in the Project Based Learning (PBL) event, presenting “Start with Hello Project.” 

More than 300 JAG-K students from across the state attended the conference. The PBL event was a National Qualifying event and the top three places secured a spot to the National Leadership Awards Event in Washington, D.C. in December.
