YMCA 2018 Corporate Cup Challenge winners announced

2018 YMCA Corporate Cup Challenge Large Division winners USD 457

After more than three weeks full of games and competitions, the Corporate Cup Challenge named its 2018 small and large division champions.

In the large division, USD 457 won the championship with 705.7 points, holding on to their title from 2017. The City of Garden City came in second with 604.2 points, and the YMCA took third with 570.6 points, followed by the Clarion Inn/Samy’s with 327.7 and Finney County with 258.

Keller & Miller CPAs and American Ag Credit combined to form the championship team in the small division with 577.9 points. The K-Coe and Fit Body Boot Camp team came in second with 403.2 points, and First National Bank took third with 351.6, followed by Commerce Bank and UPS with 342.5, Kearny County Bank with 302.6, Landmark Bank and Lewis Hooper & Dick with 271.6, Western State Bank with 259, and the Dairy Farmers of America and Garden City Telegram team with 215 points.

Events included Water Volleyball, Horseshoes, Shuffleboard, Trivia, Hungry Hippos, Racquetball, Rock Climbing, Zorb Ball, Darts, Hillbilly Golf, 3 on 3 Basketball, Rowing and several others. The Corporate Cup Challenge also included a chili cook off, in which YMCA CEO Chad Knight took first place.
