Lee Richardson Zoo’s fundraising event, “A Wild Affair,” is set for this Saturday, Sept. 8, on the zoo’s West Green, and features live music by Mike Benish and the Buckner Creek Band, as well as special appearances by zoo animal ambassadors.
Enjoy a roaring good time while sipping on a variety of adult beverages and sampling delicious foods from some of the region’s best restaurants and caterers. Bid on hundreds of unique items in the live and silent auctions, all to benefit improvements at Lee Richardson Zoo.
Lee Richardson Zoo will be closed during regular zoo hours Saturday to prepare for the festivities. The southwest gate will reopen at 6 p.m. with food served until 8 p.m.
Tickets are all-inclusive for $50 each.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be sold at the event. Guests must be 21 to enter. Purchase tickets at the Finnup Center, Blue Fox Boutique, and Ward’s Garden Center or online at www.folrz.org. Tickets won’t be sold at the door but will be available at the Finnup Center through 5 p.m. Saturday.
