“A Wild Affair,” Lee Richardson Zoo’s largest and wildest “Fun-Raiser” of the year, starts at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Celebrate an “Evening in Rio” under the stars with live music by Mike Bennish and Buckner Creek Band and special appearances by zoo animal ambassadors. Sip adult beverages while sampling delicious foods from some of the region’s best restaurants and caterers. Bid on hundreds of unique items in the live and silent auctions, all to benefit improvements at Lee Richardson Zoo.
Lee Richardson Zoo will be closed during regular zoo hours on Saturday, Sept. 9, to prepare for the festivities but doors open at 6 p.m. at the Finnup Center for Conservation Education, located at 312 Finnup Drive. Food is served until 8 p.m.
Tickets are all inclusive and just $40 per person or $50 each after Labor Day. All tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the door. Guests must be 21 to enter.
Purchase tickets at Lee Richardson Zoo, Blue Fox Boutique, Patrick Dugan’s Coffee House, and Ward’s Garden Center or online at www.folrz.org.
