County commission recognizes HHS football

The Finney County Commission on Monday recognized the accomplishments of the 2017 Holcomb High School football team in winning the Class 4A Division II Kansas State Football Championship.

The commission adopted a resolution highlighting the team’s 12-1 record and 40-20 win over Frontenac High School in the state championship game and proclaimed the week of Dec. 18-24 as Holcomb High School Football Championship Week.
