After more than three weeks full of games and competitions, the Corporate Cup Challenge named its 2017 small and large division champions.
In the large division, USD 457 won the championship with 575.7 points, taking the title from last year’s winners, the YMCA. Sunflower Electric came in second with 525.2 points, the City of Garden City took third with 523.6 points, followed by the YMCA with 477.6 and Finney County with 373.5.
Legends Salon and Keller & Miller CPAs combined to form the championship team in the small division with 581.6 points. The Lewis, Hooper & Dick and UPS team came in second with 540.7 points, and First National Bank took third with 515.7, followed by Western State Bank with 465.6 and the combined Western Motor & Landmark National Bank team with 248.
Events included Water Volleyball, Horseshoes, Shuffleboard, Texas Hold’em, Hungry Hippos, Racquetball, Darts, Trivia, Corn Hole, 3-on-3 Basketball, Rowing and several others. This year’s Corporate Cup Challenge also included a Chili Cook off, in which Kitra Roth took first place.
