Support group offers free presentation

Southwest Kansas Support Group of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Kansas is hosting a free education lesson on suicide prevention from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, presented by Richard Falcon, at St. Catherine Hospital Classroom 1. Enter through the Emergency Room entrance, take the elevator in the main hallway to the basement and follow signs to Classroom 1.

The support group will begin shortly after at 2 p.m. This is offered for individuals with mental illness and their family members and will take place the second Saturday of every month.

Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Anyone may attend the educational session; those age 18 and older are welcome to attend the support group.
